The article aims to highlight the collaboration between the theaters of the Republic of Moldova and Romania, which began in the 1990s. Over the course of three decades or so, the cultural dialogue between these two countries has been evaluated in the most diverse aspects: creative meetings, tours, participation in international theater festivals, exchange of performances, joint projects, etc., which highlight the competitiveness of our theaters to rally to the theatrical community both in the Romanian and European space. A special experience are the joint projects, such as the show One Hundred Minutes of Freedom, staged by the “Satiricus” Theater in conjunction with the “Radu Stanca” Theater in Sibiu, this being the first sui-generis project of theatrical collaboration between Romania and the Republic of Moldova; or the show “...Escu” – a coproduction between the “Stela Popescu” Theater in Bucharest and “Satiricus I. L. Caragiale” in Chisinau, produced under the title “Together through Theater”. The dialogue in the performing arts has materialized through a series of partnerships and joint projects such as: Union through culture, Chisinau-Bucharest Project: together through theater and others. An event that has become a permanent fixture in the local theatrical landscape is the “Reunion of Romanian National Theaters”, organized by the “Mihai Eminescu” National Theater and now in its 10th edition.
