Abstract

The article is dedicated to the creative biography of the director Olga Shvet, a personality with a brilliant career in the Moldovan Radio Theater and her influence on the formation and development of the school of radio directing - artistic, sound and musical direction in the radio theater performance. The approach addresses the concept, directorial style, understanding of the dramaturgical material, the main aesthetic techniques of directorial art, which became almost canonical in the radio theater in the following decades (late 20th century, early 21st century). The investigation is based on radio shows edited by the director, starting in 1990 (Radio Moldova archive) and shows about theater, interviews, dialogues, radio documentaries, through which we can understand in more detail the complexity of the aesthetic thinking and creative biography of director! Another important element on which we will focus is the symbol as an expressive procedure through which ideas or states are suggested and which the director highlights through sound means in his creation. In the process of editing the radio show, the director uses innovative working methods and directorial techniques, designed to deepen the message of the dramaturgical text, to reveal characters, situations, conflicts, through a deeper analysis of the fragments of the performance.
